Getting Your Business Online

I am in the business of building informational web sites for small businesses.  Informational web sites provide basic contact information such as phone number, location/directions, services and some level of interaction with the visitor.  This can be a contact form or leaving comments to posts made by the business.

Getting your business online is relatively easy if you know how.  Of course, right?  But there are several steps from choosing a domain name to building the web site to advertising and keeping track of visitors.  The entire process can be very intimidating.  There are several guides online that provide step by step instructions, and if you are diligent, you should be able to get a basic web site up and running.  How long this takes can be a matter of weeks or even months.

Buying and Selling Domains

I also buy and sell domain names for profit.  Before buying a domain, I will look for certain qualities that I feel make it  valuable such as it’s age, quality backlinks, and keyword analysis.  I use a variety of free and paid services to discover valuable domain names.

Once a domain name has been found that meets my quality standards, I will build it up to start generating an income stream.  This may be from context sensitive advertising such as adsense, affiliate marketing such as clickbank or commission junction, and/or building a subscriber list.

Sometimes a domain will be sold based on it’s name alone.  In those cases I will sell it to the highest bidder for a quick sale.

Look under the category “Domains for Sale” to see what is available.  If you see something you like,  you can place a bid by posting in the comment section of that listing.  Some domains are available for purchase outright via “Buy it Now” price.  Once the BIN has been met,   I will sell the domain to whoever posted it first.
